Evolutionary Genomics and Genomics Methods course
In this course we will learn the basic concepts and methodologies of genome science particularly focusing on the most recent methods. We will start by going through the basic genome structure and methods to study genomes. We will continue into evolutionary applications and more focused topics like sex-chromosome evolution and epigenetics.
The format of the course is combined seminars and lectures where the lectures cover the basics of each topic. During the lecture phase of the course each student selects a scientific topic of their interest from a list of suggested topics or
