The Introduction to North American Studies course presents students with selected aspects of the history, culture, society and geography of the United States and Canada, with the primary focus on developments in the United States. Upon completion of the course, students will have demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of North American  history, government, society and geography, which serve as the foundation for any substantial further analysis.
