Training on the Ethical Principles of the University of Oulu for students

The University of Oulu’s ethical principles consist of our community’s expectations for ourselves and each other, as well as the activities and behaviour of each member of the community Our operating principles are based on our values and the guidelines and regulations set for the University's activities. Our principles form the basis of our culture and communicate our way of doing things, making them an integral part of our University community’s identity. 

In this training, we will cover the ethical principles of the University of Oulu and consider how they are reflected in your own daily life and activities. The training will also introduce different ways to report potential concerns.

The training aims to guide us towards responsible, respectful, and sustainable activities that are seen and felt not only in our study and work environments but also in a wider societal context. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome and at ease when studying and working at the University of Oulu.

• The training consists of videos and reflection tasks, and its duration is approximately half an hour to an hour, depending on how much time you spend on reflection tasks.
