In the course we discuss the latest methodological solutions for studying the interrelations between time, place and landscape and hear keynote lectures on topics of e.g., linguistic landscapes, sensory geographies, virtual places, and Indigenous landscapes. We learn how to study the ways people experience both virtual and real landscapes and places. The topics are discussed in the classroom, during urban trekking and at two excursions in Oulu region.
