After completing the course, the student is familiar with the physical conditions. Student knows essential building physical concepts and definitions, as well as moisture sources in buildings, humidity transfer mechanisms and normal moisture concentrations in different structures. The student is familiar with the importance of thermal insulation, air tightness, and sound insulation and is able to interpret the measurement results.
The students are familiar with the basic phenomena of building physics in such a way that they can mathematically analyze and present the transfer of heat, air and humidity in structures and explain the causes of typical moisture damage. He can explain the factors affecting the energy efficiency of the building and calculate the energy efficiency figure for the building.
