During the course students are free to use AI ethically (!) and meaningfully. Ethical use consists of using your own thinking first, and students ARE NOT ALLOWED to feed the data given to them in any AI system. If student does that, they must immediately report it to the teacher. The data you are given is not yours to pass on to the AI.
If you are a student of University of Oulu, the University provides you a free licence for Microsoft Copilot. You can use your student credentials (@student.oulu.fi) to log into Microsoft Copilot. You can use other AI software such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, ChatPDF etc. if you wish. Just keep in mind the only rule: you ARE NOT ALLOWED to feed the data given to you to the AI.
