
Osaamistavoitteet
Upon completing the course, students will be able to describe the economic history of Finland within its broader historical context. They will have developed research-based critical and creative thinking skills, as well as their abilities in collaboration and communication.
Sisältö
This course offers an introduction to the main outlines of Finland’s economic history from the nineteenth century to the present day. It consists of lectures, small group assignments, a group project, engagement with research literature, and a final exam. A student may also choose to complete the course completely independently by taking an exam based on research literature.

Timing: Autumn term
Target group: Exchange and degree students studying in the Faculty of Humanities, International Business Management students. Students from other faculties are also welcomed when there is room.
