Urban Space Design TA00BA47-3001

Upon successful completion of this study unit, students will gain understanding of contemporary and future thematic perspectives in urban design, including the dynamics of the northern urban environment. Encompassing topics include nature, culture, society, technology, business, and innovation within the context of smart city or post-industrial development site. Students will develop the ability to formulate diverse objectives, programs, and plans for urban development, perform thematic analyses, set design objectives, generate alternative solutions, and create comprehensive urban plans. Additionally, students will cultivate a strong awareness of user-oriented planning principles and proficiently collaborate within multicultural, multidisciplinary working groups. This study unit equips students with the expertise and practical skills to engage effectively with urban design challenges, recognize international trends and contribute meaningfully to urban development teamwork.
